How the metal is made
Handmade sterling and gold pieces are formed in the studio. They may contain both metal recovered by hand from lawful ground and purchased metal melted with it. A piece is not called entirely field-recovered unless that batch was kept separate. Recycled copper or recycled 925 sterling wire, depending on the piece, is used on handmade studio work. Drop-shipped items are labeled and sit outside these studio claims.
UP8’s founder holds a Free Miner Certificate in British Columbia. That certificate is a legal standing for exploration, not a claim that every object in the shop came from a mine. The full standard lives on the Ethics & Sustainability page.

The founder of UP8 is a strategic consultant and craftsman who helps people find clarity in chaos. Perspective is the core skill. After navigating high-stakes transitions, the founder developed frameworks that turn what feels like crisis into strategic advantage.
The name Unique Perspective 8 comes from a Japanese proverb: “Fall seven times, stand up eight.” It is not about avoiding setbacks — it is about what you build when you rise.
